Using our mobile software
in unexpected ways
Beyond Tours
We enjoy helping clients make tours, but we also like applying our experience with mobile devices to other fields. Not all of our projects fit into easily definable categories. In the past five years we have worked with market research firms to find better methods for them to collect data, with corporations to better inform prospective customers about their products, and with companies trying to find ways to utilize mobile training.
Rising to the Challenge
Many of our clients have very specific needs which are outside the scope of our more traditional tours, yet still make use of mobile technology. We invite these challenging undertakings, since they often allow us to expand our services and develop new and exciting software.
You Tell Us
If your company is looking for a mobile solution to a problem, or if you think that mobile technology might offer the tools you need to expand or improve your business, then don’t hesitate to contact us. We are happy to talk to you about how our technology might meet your specific needs.
Featured Projects
Sales & Marketing – APC
American Power Conversion was eager to put together a personal digital presentation for their prospective clients at trade shows. We adapted our museum tour software to meet their needs, and created an updated version of our survey software to provide them with accurate data on their clients. Using our systems, APC presented almost 6000 tours at the CeBIT technology show in Germany. The APC sales team collected more detailed lead information and educated more customers than ever before at one event.
Market Research – COS
One of the largest dedicated consumer research facilities on the west coast, Consumer Opinions Services had long been looking for a mobile solution to streamline their public surveys. We utilized our FlashStyles Editor to create a highly customizable interface for their questionnaires. With our technology, their staff was able to remove cumbersome pen and paper from the equation. Better still, the accumulated data was immediately ready to be channeled into the appropriate database software for analysis, bypassing tedious and error-prone data entry stages.
Mobile Training – Nike
Nike was interested in a mobile solution for employee training at stores carrying their products. We adapted our tour software to hold their existing online training material, allowing this educational system to move from an isolated environment out onto the floor where these products are sold. With Nike apparel on hand, trainees could match the digital content with the real thing. Our device could even scan the product’s barcode and load the appropriate training module instantly. Finally, we incorporated Nike’s testing mechanism to gauge progress.
